A friend recommended Olga and Love Train Repeat when we told her that our five-year-old Goldendoodle had become reactive to other dogs and strangers while out on walks. And, we are so grateful for the recommendation.

Olga trained us as much as she trained our dog, all while using positive reinforcement techniques. She taught us valuable skills that we consistently use on our daily walks. Olga has such patience and the ability to explain, not only how to implement the techniques, but the benefits and reasoning behind the positive reinforcement techniques. Each training session builds on the ones before. Through Love Train Repeat, our dog has made great progress. We highly recommend Olga for your dog training needs. She is kind, supportive, professional, and knowledgeable.

We began using Olga when our golden retriever puppy was 5 or so months old. She worked with us and Tre’ on some basic obedience training and we progressed from there. Tre’ loved working with Olga! He was always so happy to see her and her training was simple, positive, easy for us to be consistent with. When she said Tre’ was “graduating” from basic training we were all a little sad, we genuinely enjoyed our training sessions and looked forward to them.
A few months later Tre’ began to become reactive while on leash out on walks. I reached out to Olga and she began working with us again. Lots of informative tips to help us with this issue, she also did training walks with him once a week. Tre’ was always so excited for his walks with her and he progressed so much! When she would bring him back home he would always sit and watch her leave and I know he was sad when he saw her drive away.
Soon thereafter, my daughter rescued a golden retriever from Korea. Olga assisted us in having the two dogs meet in a safe, positive, controlled environment. She gave us lots of articles to read to help the transition of adding another dog into our extended family. Olga also worked with my daughter and her dog individually and to say she has adjusted beautifully thanks to Olga is an understatement.
Every person and dog who Olga encounters benefits from her kindness, expertise and knowledge. Love, train, repeat is the best way to go!

I cannot recommend Olga highly enough. Our mini Aussie was very reactive with other dogs, but since working with Olga, we have had several people say, "I can't believe this is the same dog." She is a patient, resourceful, focused teacher, and through working with her, we have developed the skills and intuition to be able to apply her methods to all kinds of situations. Not to mention our dog LOVES her!

Hi friends! Guess what I graduated!
I wanted to come
on here and share my training experience with @love_train_repeat since a couple of you were asking!
Olga was my trainer and she was wonderful. Tbh I think she trained mom and dad more than me because they didn’t know anything :-) . She  was so nice, she always brought the best treatos, and always made my day. She taught me things like: sit, down, come, wait, stay, touch (which is my families favorite, more cause I'm cute), look, place, and much more! I also learned how to do loose leash walking which is very helpful especially living in SF (lots of distractions). I'm just about to head into my teenage months (maybe years) and I have a great foundation. Thanks Olga, mom and dad are so happy with me so I get A LOT of treatos!

Before I started working with Olga, I thought I would have a dog that barked at dogs for the rest of eternity.  However, after a couple months of working with my dog and Olga, I feel like I have a different dog! Olga’s positive training techniques are very effective and kind. After working with Olga, I can confidently walk past other dogs knowing Luna will focus on me when I ask! Olga is the absolute best!

Olga's Love, Train, Repeat was recommended by a member of the Husky Meet up Facebook group I'm a part of.  I'm forever grateful Olga was willing to meet me in Oakland close to my place and had several puppy sessions outside as well as inside my apartment.  From day one, Olga was not only professional but friendly and caring.  Bella and I always looked forward to our next training session and put them to the test with Olga and as the training progressed, we started to add more distractions around Bella.  She was very hands-on with the training and really helped me understand and put it to practice.  I have recommended her in the past and will highly recommend her for your puppy training!  Happy training!

I had a COVID puppy who was almost 2 years old when Olga started training. Olga helped my dog with socialization and reactivity - lots of barking! Olga goes above ad beyond and brought trained dogs over to help with my dog's training. She was also very patient with me and trained me how to work best with my dog. Olga is a committed, knowledgeable, professional. I highly recommend her!

Sunny New.png

Sunny

We adopted our dog at the end of January 2020. It was literally 2 weeks before COVID-19 lockdown hit.

She is a shepherd mix and weighs 65 LBS. she was originally rescued from the streets of Fresno and adopted out to a family with small children and cats. She was surrendered back to the Humane Society after 8 months. Sunny is a warm and loving dog that has huge issues with cats and is very leash reactive. We feel that these behaviors are a result of her previous family life.

We did some research and decided to engage Olga to try and help us with Sunny. We like that Olga is a firm believer in positive reinforcement only. We also like that she works mainly with large dog breeds.

The moment Sunny and Olga met, we knew we had made the right choice. Sunny can be very verbal and she definitely was when Olga first arrived. However, it was only moments before Olga was interacting with Sunny as if they had known each other for years. Amazing combination of spoken and behavioral cues by Olga had our pup behaving like a little debutante.

Olga taught us how to respond to Sunny, what was motivating her behavior and how our own behaviors were contributing to communication breakdowns. It is because of the help from Olga, that our life with Sunny is so much more relaxing and mutually beneficial.

We ABSOLUTELY recommend her for anyone who wants a more responsive dog.

I’ve worked alongside Olga at Rocket Dog Rescue for the last two years. Olga originally came to us to work with our dogs and provide them with some training but she has brought so much more to the organization. She has taken on a critical role as one of our adoption coordinators and has overseen many dogs and found them wonderful homes.
Our dogs are rescues that come from a variety of backgrounds. They are often picked up as strays and put into the sheltering environment. We tend to deal with behavioral issues that are less commonly seen, or not as intensely, in the average family pet, due
to high stress levels, poor socialization during the puppy developments phase, and many other factors.
Olga quickly showed us that she can observe and adapt to meet the dog where they are, instead of pushing a personal agenda. I believe it was an eye-opening experience for her to realize that many of our dogs were not “ready” to begin training due to high stress levels. She recognized this, adapted and shifted her focus to work on decompression and training that is geared more towards building confidence and providing mental stimulation. For the dogs that show they are ready for more, Olga steps up the training,
which keeps them enriched and gets them ready for their new homes! Olga communicates well with the dogs. Her training style is clear and understandable, and always positive. Olga not only trains the
dogs, but the staff as well. We are all volunteers with varying skill sets. I never hesitate to ask Olga for advice or to teach me techniques to help me be a better advocate for the dogs.
Dog training is really about teaching the handler how to train their dog. Olga is a pleasure to work with. She is knowledgeable, skilled, and has an innate instinct and understanding of dog behavior. She will set you up for success!
We have been very fortunate to have Olga as part of our team. The dogs and people she has worked with have benefited tremendously from her caring, dedication, and definitely her talents!
